This relaxation track is a body scan practice in the Mindfulness tradition. One way of encouraging a relaxation is to bring your attention to each area of the body, one part at a time. We tend to hold tension in areas of the body where we might not even feel tense. When we undertake a systematic check-in of all the different areas of the body, we start to reveal and uncover this hidden tension. This practice is deeply relaxing and calming for both body and mind and works really well after a yoga class or before sleep. Enjoy your practice!
