These day retreats offer an affordable, convenient way to support your inner being and reconnect to the wisdom within you.  
Unwinding the deeply-held tensions and tendencies (samskara) that we hold in our being begins a process of fundamental and transformative change. 
When we take the time to unwind tension before we explore ways of developing strength, we can harness the strength that was locked up in stuck stress to better support ourselves at a deeper level.
This longer immersion in a broader range of yoga practices will enable you to reconnect with your inner strength, your inner truth. 
This is an invitation to drop into this deeper nourishing practice of yoga, I would love to welcome you!

Whole Yoga for the Whole Person 

In the one-day retreats, we’ll work with the Eight Limbs of Yoga, to rebalance the Five Layers (panchamayakosha) of our embodied selves. Aspects of yoga philosophy will be gently woven into the movement practices. 
The movement is suitable for everyone, beginners, intermediate and those with aches, pains or movement restrictions, are all welcome. Individual adaptations are provided so you can find your own expression of the poses that feels just right for you. 
You might feel inspired to come with a friend, partner or family member who might not have a regular yoga or movement practice.

Balancing Yoga – exploring the subtle bandha (core strength) balancing the nervous system, the left and right side of the body, mind and spirit (ida and pingala)

What to Bring
There is equipment available at Yoga Junction, although if you wish to bring your own that’s fine too. There are toilets, but no changing room so come in comfortable clothes to practice in. Layers are good as your temperature will change throughout the various practices.

Prices Include:

  • All group yoga tuition: including one somatics class, one yoga class; breath and restorative yoga, yoga nidra; yoga philosophy and meditation practices.

Prices Don’t Include:

  • Lunch (only 30 mins break for a snack/drink)
  • Drinks and Refreshments

There is a cafe nearby, with lots of cakes! No gluten-free options though, so good to bring a light lunch or snack to eat during the break and a bottle of water. Ideally have a good brunch before 10am.

* Payment for your retreat is non-refundable but transferable.
